This yarn couching project was a little bit luck and a LOT of fun.  It began with a fantastic hand dye fabric from my friend Debbie Heeps in Allentown Pa.  The colors suggested a marsh to me…and Blue Heron landed.  I used heavy background quilting from my A to Zen book and then the yarn couching with a broad mix of commercial and artisan yarns.
